As I attend (and expect and harken) to One Wild Life over its multi-year let go, I found each part required more investment to enjoy, but character well, that is not to say the quality reduced, rather, the insidiousness increased. The Embarrass of harmonious choices and textures grew more involved as the ideas to grapple with grew bigger or more stubborn. The words and poems became more nuanced and the angles from which topics were approached became more unfair. But the strength of suffering, of love, of harm and desire for transformation were there all throughout. The satisfaction with the Earth as-is…the lack of need to define, describe, believe, consummate…are there in every poesy. Life and the globe are full with looker, rage that persists in our spirit and inspirit, anyway of which words and traditions have tried to explore and explain it. Hardship live; dislike, self-partiality, and decease are all immediate in the value with us and with all of the good, but “there’s no energy with out a death”. Be ready in the nature that contains you, the universe that you are: pet is all, live in friendship, free.

Indeed, many of these footprint are driven by percussion and vocals, with tonal implement only furnish dynamics. The projective cantatory and funky groove of “Breath Within the Breath” transport an otherwise tedious verse to life, while harmonised voices support “Lovely Broken” until its climax. However, in the case of “Free,” sonant, rhythmic and compositional flare bind for one of the most sensational vamps of the witness.

The aptly titled “The End’s” search of the horrors of humanity and what awaits on the other side provides an emotional rollercoaster likely none other. Orchestral melodrama and striking intimacy collide in an sudden, yet appropriate termination to Gungor’s flower album yet. “Body” dress the the physical plain with incorporeality intact, impart a exactly satisfying meet upon all who put their minds to it.

Clocking in longer than the 55-record and 44-minute predecessors, this stound-hunger album requires study and dipping for full understanding. The syn flood of previous albums relic, but Gungor’s chameleon-like stylistic choices proceed to moment listeners for a loop.

From the same soil that grew Jim Morrison, Tony Hawk, NWA, Snoop, & Kendrick Lamar, augment another LA native, Propaganda. What do you assay about Propaganda? He’s a bard, wise mover and shaker, husband, father, platonist, & emcee. With LA copious through his veins & armed with a rude dispatch, Propaganda has assembled a thickness of embroidery that challenges his listeners with every poetry & extension across the spectrum of explosion culture. From enterprising action raps to adulatory self-examining rhythms, Propaganda’s descant will cause you to shake your head, but more importantly it will stretch your intent & mind.

I could spend a week enfold up in the fluffy zeal of Light. It’s scriptory for their graceful daughter, Lucie. It’s also a beautiful nature respect. For all of the tech-driven drive that make up the energetic and enigmatic sound worlds of One Wild Life, this sonnet educe only on Michael Gungor’s classical background and orderly characteristic him and his grizel cantatory over a toy-spruce Vina line and an intricately throughcomposed concatenation together with some other helpful ambiance in the background. This sonnet is beautiful. Give the associated blog express a interpret before you heady.

10- Gungor has wise the vile night of the spirit and outlive to inscribe going it. Michael wrote in his book at ran approximately the cauterize out that sent him continuous off to “the cream supersensible solitude in the world.”  The song appeal to “Beautiful Things” was written with Lisa in the wake of a  spontaneous abortion.  In 2011, the album and its designation footprint, “Beautiful Things”, were appoint for the Grammy categories Best Rock or Rap Gospel Album and Best Gospel Song, respectively.  I gave this album to one of my more sparingness prone youth, and a sennight latter I attention she was singing this sonnet softly to herself as a comfort. I can’t assay I haven’t done the same.

It’s ok if you were port a brief uncomfortable by Let Bad Religion Die, Love is All offers groovy, funky relief. We also adieu behind search of human disconnectedness and revert to the subject of a joined universe, in this case the connection is love. The backing forcibly copy a cool hop track with a groovy beat and deep line, and interspersed instrumental riffs, it’s actually funky and immense. The lyrics focus on the united character of life and death and other opposing, yet confederated, characteristic of the the. Love is the template we put on it all, it’s how we can rencounter the whole process we are part of, “unto this hardened region with nothing, till we find our peace, lay our egos down.” (this road immolate the other abstracted featured video). Hurricane is a little more representative in it’s production, but it matches the melodious theme of delicate, wordy versification with big theatric choruses. It again augment out of the foregone track and makes its ideas bigger and bolder: “I see kindness projection likely a hurricane.” This track is the weight of hope that tenderness can honestly change the the, an intention which I contemplate could be designate “The Gospel” in the absence of all else holy. We Are Alive stand for nothing but the accurate words in its right. The musical dramatics has again ebbed for the opening of this track and the overt performance of other vestige is preoccupied. It’s a lush tapestry of guitars, infold, and pianos and textile sonorous lines. This trail is almost pæan likely in it’s form; it’s alluring, it’s communal. It has also render to the humanist spirit of Better Together, again not combative toward the rogod, but focused on the Excellency of our collective share.

“Wayward and Torn” undissembling with the auricular crunch of footsteps of Embarrass, followed by bluesy auditory gat and honking tin sandwich. It’s the most austral-sounding air on the album, and it doesn’t completely competent with the rest of the tracklist . . . but we like it that procession. The belt does, too.
